Namaste and welcome to my blog. I am a yoga instructor based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I have taken the theme of the rainbow in my site as a rainbow is both beautiful and uplifts the hearts of people who witness it. No one who has seen a rainbow will say that they have felt saddened after. So I hope those who visit here will leave with a smile not only on their faces but in their hearts as well.

Like the rainbow which forms a bridge between the heavens and the earth, so too yoga forms a bridge between the Eternal Source and our individual lives. Through the practice of yoga, we can tap into the wisdom, peace and joy of the ages to enrich our own lives.

As pleasing to the eye as a rainbow after the rain is, rainbows are but prisms of color formed when the sun’s rays shines through water droplets in the air. Metaphorically, the rainbow is as impermanent as material things which we place so much importance to in life. Chasing after mere physical manifestations of objects is as futile as chasing a rainbow’s end, for the mythical pot of leprechaun gold.

Yoga offers us the opportunity to see beyond what is conventionally regarded as priorities in life by deepening our perception, peeling away the layers upon layers of culturally and socially imposed misconceptions.  Yoga does this by using our body, moving our consciousness inwards to the mind. On the more physical level, yoga offers an improved sense of general wellbeing because it is only when the muscles are stretched that the body can relax. But more than that, yoga uses the vehicle of the body, to take us to the inner depths of the wondrous universe that lies beyond the physical body alone.
